AS in Pre-Nursing 

(Launching Fall 2026)

The Associate in Science in Pre-Nursing at OSU-OKC provides a focused pathway for students planning to enter the AAS in Nurse Science program and, ultimately, pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). This degree includes required prerequisites for the Nurse Science program and offers elective courses to prepare for transfer to other nursing programs.

Program Highlights

  • Students interested in the AAS in Nurse Science or the LPN/Paramedic-to-RN Concentration will first be admitted into the AS in Pre-Nursing program.
  • After completing required pre/corequisite courses, students may apply for admission to the Nursing program.
  • Once accepted, the primary degree changes to AAS in Nursing, while AS in Pre-Nursing remains as a secondary program.
